Angular angular ball bearings have the raceways of the inner ring and outer ring shifted relative to each other, suitable for bearing combined loads, that is, loads acting simultaneously in the radial and axial directions.
PF quality angular contact ball bearings are designed to handle both radial and axial loads. Their ability to support combined loads increases proportionally to the increase in contact angle, due to the arrangement of the raceway surfaces of the inner and outer rings.
The FCM brand offers a wide range of angular contact ball bearing configurations.
The most common types include:
To provide a more detailed picture of PFQ angular contact ball bearings, it is useful to clarify what is meant by contact angle. The latter is defined as the angle formed by the line connecting the contact points between the balls and raceways in the radial plane, following the path along which the load is transferred from one raceway to the other, relative to a line perpendicular to the bearing axis.
